My career began in research, finance, and management consulting roles where I focused primarily on business strategy and information analysis. But outside of those professional roles, I found myself constantly engaged in personal projects where I could express myself in creative ways. I knew I found my perfect fit when I became a User Experience Strategist and Principal Designer.

 

Being an advocate for the user has always been an inherent focus for me. With deep expertise with the range of user-centered design methodologies, I pride myself in putting myself in the users’ shoes to craft engaging, intuitive, and valuable user experiences.

 

My favorite projects involve me untangling complex flows and requirements to create simple and elegant experiences.  I especially love those where the online and offline worlds intersect across different platforms throughout a user's journey.  I strongly believe that the main contributors to a successful UX include research, iteration, and close collaboration with my business, design, and technology partners.

 

Originally from California, I live just outside of New York City with my husband, two kids, and lovable dog, Ollie.  I am always game to go skiing (snow, not water!), and I've recently learned to appreciate a long hike with a good view.
